Next is Maat Neko of the Pet Shop Reject crew.

I had alot of fun with this. I wanted to create a graceful pose to match her story and overal style. I've no idea why I chose the highstreet for her background but I wanted to show her in an average setting. So I thought that if the band went shopping and someone made a comment about the poses they use in photos of models, the odds were that Maat would demonstrate how to pose like a pro.

I'm annoyed that her boots didn't manage to fit on to the page (I really need to get bigger paper) and her hair could have been a bit more detailed but I still like how she came out. She's one of the few I managed to get the tatoo on.

The clothes on the dummies I threw together because I thought they looked nice. I've no idea if such outfits exist but I knew that when Maat goes shoping, odds are she'll be where the high class outfits are.

Those arms are PERFECT. Only thing I'll say is ears, (even tho she is a catgirl, I always think they look werid without human ears if the ears are not on the side of their face) even if they aren't showing always give the impression they are there--I always draw in ears so I know where they would be, even if I cover it with hair, I always show a small snippet of the ear to round up the face.

A lot of you characters wear skin tight clothes, specially trousers, have you ever tried drawing something more flimsy?

The cat ears do look rather like a head band. I tried to make them as realistic as I could but I didn't manage it.

As for the clothes and the lack of human ears, she belongs to Mina so I kept as close to her design as I could and her design has cat ears rather than human.

I take your point about skin tight clothes though. I am working on things with more flow. Currently I'm stuck between improving my anatomy study and atually making some stuff that looks like it can move. I'm getting there though.

Don't be scared to make clothes that don't show off people's curves perfectly--most clothes fail to do so XD

You made me feel so good today. All of these are great. Just how I see them and you did wonderfully!

This is Maat all over. I can just see her doing this. All the other girls maybe not wanting to try stuff on, but she'd get them too!

I thought Maat would be the one to try and get them to dress up. She doesn't seem the type to take no for an answer!
